    Hi!

I’m trying to create m3u list with some .opus music files, but it doesn’t work as it should.

If I create m3u with relative path:

    #EXTM3U
    track1.opus
    track2.opus
    track3.opus

    <span style=”text-align: center;”>player writes message: “</span><span style=”text-align: center;”>Playback failed: File not found” and doesn’t play music.</span>

If I create m3u with with full path:

    #EXTM3U
    /mnt/sd_0/T/track1.opus
    /mnt/sd_0/T/track2.opus
    /mnt/sd_0/T/track3.opus

music is playing, but track isn’t changed in the end, player stops playing after every track in the m3u list and it requires to press “next track” button every time.

Can you fix this in firmware update?

Can you send to my account email? I’d like to not show email to everyone.

Meanwhile I discovered, that renaming .opus files to .mp3 makes m3u list

    #EXTM3U
    track1.mp3
    track2.mp3
    track3.mp3

work without stopping after every track and without “Playback failed: File not found” error message. It seems that main issue is that m3u playlists with .opus files don’t work fully (maybe firmware code for external playlists was writen only for popular filetypes like .mp3)

Renaming .opus to .mp3 makes player freeze sometimes, and I have too many opus tracks, renaming these all to .mp3 will be hard,  isso this not very good solution.

    Hi again.

The manual describes creation of standard m3u with mp3/wav and etc. With .opus this m3u doesn’t work, so this manual doesn’t solve problem.

I described player behavior in the first and second posts.

If I create m3u with relative path:

    #EXTM3U
    track1.opus
    track2.opus
    track3.opus

player writes message: “Playback failed: File not found” and doesn’t play music.

If I create m3u with with full path:

    #EXTM3U
    /mnt/sd_0/T/track1.opus
    /mnt/sd_0/T/track2.opus
    /mnt/sd_0/T/track3.opus

music is playing, but track isn’t changed in the end, player stops playing after every track in the m3u list and it requires to press “next track” button every time.

Hi, please try to write a song name that is the real song name, not the file name.

Or I’ll give you another tool to generate M3U

Don’t work. Still get the same errors with any .opus file in the m3u playlist.

Any generated or manual playlists with .opus doesn’t work on xduoo x3ii, still get the same errors that i described.

Desktop players works with this playlists with .opus tracks fine.
