i had bought an xd05 a couple of months ago. now all of a sudden it stopped working and is not being recognised by windows in device manager it says: unknown USB device (device descriptor request failed). it is not being recognised on either windows or mac. when I connect it to windows the screen shows a welcome screen every three seconds the first two being faint and dimly lit and the third being the normal one, it finishes loading to the USB screen and shows no signal for about a few 5 seconds and then it clicks and restarts the same loop all over again. i connected it to aux only and it still works. it is not being recognised by any computer I connect it to. i cant connect it to android because I don’t have the box or cables with me, I just have the amp. i tried uninstalling the device in windows but it did not help. i installed the firmware from your website but it also did not show anything connected. is there anything else i can try? or has something broken?July 29, 2020 at 11:09 pm #1328
Hi, can you try another USB cable?July 30, 2020 at 10:39 pm #1330
yeah I tried it since then, it was a charging issue and the cables were bad. the device is working but I still have problems:
the driver in windows is not recognising it properly, it recognises it as a speaker or a midi device at times, but in device manager it shows that there is one : xduoo USB Audio 2.0 DFU
it says that there are no devices installed and there are no compatible drivers available, code 28. windows update also doesn’t find any drivers.
i installed your 4.67 drivers and in the control panel, it says that there are no devices connected.
the device works fine otherwise, i can adjust the windows output from the device properties. im not sure if it is acting normally.July 31, 2020 at 11:05 am #1342
Hi, have you updated your XD-05？ we have new firmware on our websiteAugust 4, 2020 at 11:12 pm #1346
yes i updated to the 4.67 driver for the xduoo xd05 plus. the xduoo control panel from your firmware says that there are no devices connected. meanwhile windows recognises it.August 7, 2020 at 5:46 pm #1371
It may be that the xd-05 is broken, can you send it back to us for repair?August 11, 2020 at 10:31 am #1375
im in india, the shipping is not possible at the moment, any chance you could help in figuring out the problem at the moment? as I said, the device works fine, mac recognises it, windows recognises it and I can set the bitrate to 32bit 384.khz from the windows settings and the xd05 plus displays the changes in bitrate all other functions work fine the amp portion works fine . there is just one unrecognised device out of four in device manager and your xduoo control panel shows that there aren’t any devices connected. Windows recognises it and it works, can you help me diagnose it ?? cause it most likely seems to be a driver issueAugust 11, 2020 at 10:32 am #1365
how do i resolve this issue?? it loses the configuration every so often.August 13, 2020 at 3:56 pm #1408
Hi, Sorry, I’m a little confused. You mean it can work normally in windows and MAC, but our 4.67 driver can’t recognize it, right?
If yes, I will send V4.86 driver to you to tryAugust 19, 2020 at 10:54 pm #1420
yes it works fine in windows and mac, in device manager it recognises it in the following categories: 1)audio inputs and outputs : speakers (2- xduoo USB audio 2.0) 2)sound, video and game controllers: xduoo USB audio 2.0, there is one unrecognised device under 3)other devices: xduoo USB audio 2.0 DFU, when I click on this device it says that there are no drivers installed or available for the device. I can give you the event logs and info if you want as well.
it still works fine otherwise, ill try the 4.86 drivers if you could send them to my registered id.August 21, 2020 at 4:17 pm #1435
OK， will send to your emailMarch 8, 2021 at 10:40 am #2623plotistParticipant
I have xDuoo TA-10 and with the same issue here.
Device status for ‘xDuoo USB Audio 2.0 DFU’:
The drivers for this device are not installed. (Code 28)
There are no compatible drivers for this device.
To find a driver for this device, click Update Driver.
I’m able to play music though, and this confuses me since I keep wondering that quality might have been better with proper driver installed
